The family SUP board can comfortably fit either 3 adults or 2 children (minimum 7 years old) and 2 adults. This is a fantastic option for families to enjoy paddleboarding together. Your hire will include a lesson on the beach before you head out, this will be held by one of the friendly Active Escape members of staff.

SALCOMBE PADDLEBOARDING – SALCOMBE

Based at Port Waterhouse, Salcombe Paddleboarding is nestled amongst the white sandy beaches of Salcombe Estuary. This area of outstanding natural beauty is perfect for beginners and experienced paddlers as it is often sheltered from strong winds with clear turquoise waters. From Port Waterhouse there is plenty to explore including Mill Bay, South Pool and Sunny Cove.

THE PADDLE SHACK – DARTMOUTH

Situated on the beautiful waterways of The River Dart in South Devon, The Paddle Shack offer a range of lessons, guided tours and hire opportunities. The calm, sheltered location is perfect for building your confidence up on the water, within 2 hours you should feel in control of the board and happy maneuvering in the water. New lifejackets sold in the UK, Ireland and Europe are required to meet the international Standards Organisation standard ISO12402. For paddleboardig you need a buoyancy aid at level 50.
