MILTON ABBAS WALKS The long route
If you’re looking to explore a little further afield from the village, you will have plenty of beautiful Dorset countryside at your doorstep. Start your walk by admiring the pretty village of Milton Abbas which has bundles of charm, character and plenty of unique properties. The walking route leads you out of the village passing Lake Lodge and following the footpath towards the Abbey. You will walk through the village of Hilton which has an abundance of enviable properties and peaceful village atmosphere, this is a fantastic village to explore during your walk. This circular walk navigates back towards the village, retracing some of your original steps from the beginning of the walk, and ending near the Hambro Arms.

MILTON ABBAS WALKS The short route
This shorter Milton Abbas walk offers a great alternative just shy of 5km. This route starts at the same point and explores the beautiful village and lake, however, it does not go as far as the village of Hilton.
