Golden Cap is a cliff situated on the Dorset coastline between Bridport and Charmouth, at 191 metres it is the highest point on the south coast, as you can imagine the view from the top is absolutely breathtaking. This Dorset hidden gem is surrounded by rolling hills and miles of countryside, the perfect location to enjoy a coastal walk in one of the lesser-known areas of Dorset.
GOLDEN CAP WALKING ROUTE
This Golden Cap walk starts in the small Dorset village of Eype. You can also start the walk from West Bay and join the coastal path heading towards Golden Cap. The path is steep and challenging at times but you are rewarded with spectacular views of the Jurassic Coast as you reach the highest point on the south coast. The panoramic views of the turquoise ocean make you feel like you could be anywhere in the world.
